Love is All You Need

Summer vacation has begun.  A day and 1/2 into it, the kids announced they were bored.  They were bored with themselves.  They were bored with each other.  They were bored with everything!  It was the making of the perfect storm.

The kids started to get on each other's nerves.  They started to get on our nerves.  We started to get on their nerves.  LOL!  You know how this scenario plays out - major funk-fest for all!

Sometimes these things happen and you just have to take a step back.  You need to take a time out for everyone - a moment to realize "the glue" that holds you all together.  That glue is love.

In the grand scheme of things, nothing else matters but the love you have for one another.  If you stop and realize that love is the most important and precious thing, you can turn any situation around!  Sometimes, it just takes a few quiet moments.  Sometimes, sitting quietly and snuggling with one another does the trick.  Someones, talking about it together can also help change a moment. 

We really don't NEED anything more than love.  When times get tough, try to stop and remember what's most important.  Love is ALL you need.
