Just Go With It...

I know, it's disgusting!  But what happens at the Jersey shore - stays at the Jersey shore!  ;-)

It started out as a normal moment...well, define "normal"?  Our sense of normalcy changed when this little guy was born.

The plan was just to eat ice cream on the roof and watch the sky at dusk.  But then the ice-cream face smashing began, and I went with it - and you know what?  Everyone had more fun because I allowed it to happen.  So much for watching the sky!

Sometimes, we get so wrapped up in the way things are supposed to be, that we don't allow playfulness and spontaneity into our lives.  We don't want to get dirty.  We don't want to be derailed.  We're too rigid...sometimes, we make ourselves miss wonderful moments.

Thought of the Day:  Be more adjustable.  Allow chaos, spontaneity, and adventure into your life.  Not a lot, but a little.  Moments like this are too precious and fun to miss.  Sometimes getting dirty is more fun.  Sometimes, a little derailment creates a lifelong memory.
